Wedding @ THE NORWOOD (Private New York Club)

This was a really fun, stylish Wedding at the exclusive members-only NORWOOD CLUB in New York, at the end of last year.
The Club takes over an entire five level, double-wide 1800's brownstone. The ceremony was on the parlor level, with a sit down five course tasting-menu on the second floor and dancing to a cool DJ on the third floor nightclub / bar level.
We took the couple to the back garden for photos and really loved the classic New York fire-escapes and the 'house' with amazing high ceilings and huge paintings by local artists.

End of Year Thanks...

Thanks to all our wonderful clients and industry friends for making 2009 such a terrific year for 4Eyes Photography. Despite the tough climate we were blessed with one of our busiest years ever !
Highlights included photographing Alyssa Milano & David Bugliaro's magical 'country chic' wedding in the summer, at a private estate in NJ. Design & planning was by Colin Cowie Events and the guest list included some of Hollywood's most famous faces !
In addition to our studio on West 21st Street in Manhattan we also opened an office in Nyack NY, serving the Hudson Valley and Tri-State area, which has been keeping us busy !
Together with a host of fabulous city weddings, we also managed to dodge the rainy summer with some spectacular tented affairs on the water in Rye NY , Greenwich CT, Montauk NY and a beautiful event in NJ that will be featured in the 2010 issue of Real Simple Weddings - on sale in January 2010.

4EYES appear on the TLC television Show "Cake Boss" !

Scenes from the episode of 'Cake Boss' that will air November 15th @ 10pm ... !
Kellie & Rupert of 4Eyes will appear on an episode of next Season's hit TLC reality TV Show "CAKE BOSS".
Cake Boss is based on the adventures of Buddy Valastro, the master baker of Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop, in Hoboken NJ. 4Eyes appear photographing the bride & groom and wedding party, when buddy himself delivers the cake to the reception, held at The Liberty House in New Jersey.
The cake was actually a Groom Cake and was a surprise for the groom. It was an amazing replica of an extreme fighting ring, complete with two fighting figures ( which the groom was a big fan of).

Stylish Bowery Hotel Wedding

Mariko & Jim's wedding @ the ulta-chic BOWERY HOTEL.
Mariko was from Japan and Jim from Boston and the 2 got ready in separate rooms of their full floor apartment, just down the road from the wedding. This was a great opportunity for Kellie to get some fashion shots of Mariko while rupert hung with the guys and got some shots of the groom putting on his equally cool outfit !
We all jumped into limos afterwards and drove to SoHo and Washington Square Park for shots of the couple. The jumping shots are all real (!) and Jim was a trooper leaping into the air for the amazing "action" shot !
The weddding and reception were all held back @ The Bowery Hotel with the couple officially married by a friend who became ordained just for the event !

Manhattan Wedding at The W Hotel

This was a fun wedding with getting ready pictures of the guys on the Upper Westside by Rupert, with a walk to the nearby church. Kellie got the girls back at the W Hotel in Mid-town. After the ceremony an old-time trolly took everyone back to the rooftop of the W's Penthouse for pictures on the Miami Beach style verandah !

Fun Tent Wedding In NJ

Beautiful, fun tent wedding on a private estate in NJ.
The bride added all sorts of fun elements, including a chic 'Country Wedding" theme, with chalk boards for guests to write little notes and have themselves photographed. The groom even wrote a special, hilarious song for the bride, which he performed on guitar , right after the ceremony.
We got some great shots of the couple around the property and dodging the summer thunder storms !

Tent Wedding in Greenwich Ct.

This was a spectacular wedding with a tented Reception & Ceremony, on the grounds of the brides' parents house in Greenwich Ct. The portraits were done on a private waterfront estate, with the long Island Sound as a backdrop.
After the ceremony the reception was in another massive tent that had been transformed into a fabulous old world ballroom, with velvet couches, chandeliers and huge swimming pool covered in glass for dancing over the water !
