Christina & Henry had a large, beautiful wedding at The Ritz Carlton Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii in February this year.
The Welcome Dinner was a traditional Hawaiian Lu'au with dancing and music followed by the wedding the next day with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop ! The bride was called down the aisle in traditional Hawaiian style, by the priest blowing into a large shell.
We got some great pictures of the couple and wedding party around the tropical grounds before the wedding. After the ceremony we quickly jumped into golf carts and rode up to a point on a bluff, high above the rocky coastline, for some really dramatic shots of the couple as the sunset.

Ballet & Music @ a Manhattan Penthouse Wedding
Our first wedding of the year was a lovely, unusual event on January 15th at The Manhattan Penthouse. The bride was a trained Russian ballerina, so we got some great shots of her dance moves in her apartment..... and later in an arched window high above Manhattan!
Family pictures were in a snow-covered Washington Square Park and the ceremony was at a church right on the park.
The reception featured a classical music piano recital, Russian Gypsy folk dancers & musicians and an impromptu percussion performance by the drummer from indie band The Yeah Yeah Yeah's - a friend of the Grooms!

Spring Wedding @ The New York Botanical Gardens
We shot this fabulous wedding at The New York Botanical Gardens, a day after the Royal Wedding!
We've shot many times at the NYBG and never seen in looking lovelier - with all the flowers and plants in full bloom !
Catering was by Abigail Kirsch and the couple had a Spring theme, with little hand-made birds as seat assignment.
Rockin' tunes were courtesy of the fabulous DJ JOHNNY STUART ..who had the crowd dancing all night.......and the couple rounded off the day with boxed Magnolia Bakery cup cakes as gifts before they left in a vintage 1947 limo !
